Job Posting - Inventory Coordinator

RadioWorks is now recruiting for the position of Inventory Coordinator, responsible for purchasing, receiving and physical control of equipment for resale and materials for own use.

Reporting to the Administrative Supervisor, the Inventory Coordinator will be required to liaise with managers, sales reps, and support staff to fulfill purchasing needs and preserve customer and vendor relationships. Duties include management of stock levels and maintenance of warehouse facilities; preparation and submission of purchase orders; expediting; receiving, assembling, filling and shipping orders. Physical audits of inventory are conducted monthly and annually. Other duties include responsibility for building, facilities and security matters.

This position is suited to an individual with at least three years of related experience. Completion of formal post graduate business education and/or Professional Purchasing studies will be an asset.

Physical requirements include lifting and climbing stairs and ladders. A valid driver’s licence is necessary.

 

 

Job Posting - Senior Electronics Technologist (Field)

Position Description:

As a senior member of our Service Team and reporting to the Service Manager, the job duties will include;

  • Installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of wireless communications systems and components,
  • Device modifications at the component level to meet design objectives,
  • Fabrication of small analog and digital circuits,
  • Documentation of electronics equipment and systems,
  • Coaching and quality control in respect of the work performed by Installers and Bench Technicians,
  • Work is performed in the Shop and in the field, with customers often accompanying at sites. The Senior Technologist must represent the company competently and professionally in communications with both technical and non-technical representatives of the customer including their senior management.
Job Prerequisites:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in troubleshooting of radio electronics is necessary; experience with Motorola two-way equipment and wireless data networks will be advantageous. Senior Technologists share rotating after-hours call and occasionally incur overtime. Working conditions often encompasses the need for climbing ladders and towers, hiking into sites, and other physical activity.
  • All employees are required to carry valid Class 5 Drivers License with no driving convictions and be prepared to provide satisfactory Criminal Records Check. Due to the sensitive nature of our work employees must agree to undergo Enhanced Security Clearance as may be required.
