Motorola Mesh Network Cameras

Mesh network cameras work directly on wired or wireless mesh networks. 

Wireless mesh networks self-associate and form a working broadband network immediately upon power-up, just install the access points where you need them on lamp posts, or rooftops, etc.

If you need stronger coverage or increased capacity somewhere just install another node right there. There is no need to manually update routing tables when access points are installed or removed.

Mesh networks quickly re-route around degraded nodes that are performing poorly due to local network congestion or local radio interference.

Mesh cameras are ideal for quick, temporary deployments at events that require video surveillance.

Motorola Wi-Fi Mesh Cameras

• Wireless Wi-Fi mesh networks are for public subscribers and municipal applications
• Wireless Wi-Fi mesh networks use the same license-exempt 2.4GHz frequencies as regular Wi-Fi access points

Motorola MEA Mesh Cameras

• These netcams use licensed 4.9GHz frequencies and the Motorola MEA mesh protocol to create a private wireless mesh network
• MEA mesh networks are primarily for police and fire departments as well as other mission-critical organizations
• MEA mesh cameras can stream live video to and from vehicles at highway speed on route to, or engaged at an incident site
